This collection is a record of WIRAD's submission to the RAE 2008.
WIRAD is part of a large scale investment in art & design research and represents a strategic response to the challenge of developing and sustaining the research infrastructure in a regional landscape that has a proliferation of relatively small, geographically dispersed institutions. At its inception, WIRAD consists of three centres: Cardiff School of Art & Design, The National Centre for Product Design & Development Research (PDR), based at University of Wales Institute, Cardiff (UWIC) and Newport School of Art, Media & Design, based at University of Wales Newport.
